Lagonda Pit Stop “Thirsty Work”
After an exciting five lap duel for second place in the 1934 Ards Tourist Trophy Race the Hon. Brian Lewis’ Lagonda was forced to stop for a tyre change. Thus leaving competitor Eddie Hall, in his Rolls-Bentley, to close in on the leading MG of Charlie Dodson. Lewis eventually managed a commendable 4th place, coming in just 5 minutes after the winning Dodson. Not bad at all in a 455-mile race!
An original watercolour painting of a vintage Lagonda pit stop scene, measuring 13¾ x 19¾ inches.
Original Painting – £895.00 – including complimentary UK delivery.
