Magical Mount Stewart

A lively pointillist style painting of the breathtakingly unique gardens at Mount Stewart in County Down. The bedazzling banks of the seven-acre lake abound with primulas, irises, and large-leafed gunneras and the paths are lined with rhododendrons, azaleas and magnolias. The view across the lake, as well as these paths, lead to Tir N’an Òg (Land of the Ever Young). The waters reflect a full kaleidoscope of colours from the extraordinary scope of its plant collections.

It is one of the most unique and unusual gardens in the National Trust’s ownership and benefits greatly from the mild climate of the Ards Peninsula.

An acrylic painting, on deep stretched canvas – 1000 x 700 x 45 mm / 39 x 27½ x ¾ inches.

The original painting is sold, but I’m delighted to offer two sizes of Limited Edition Prints!
