Ballydorn Lightship on Strangford Lough, County Down
The former Irish Lights lightship “Petrel”, spent most of her service life at Blackwater Bank on the River Blackwater, Wexford. Decommissioned in 1968 she became the Club House of the Down Cruising Club at Ballydorn, Co. Down in Northern Ireland and makes a striking “landmark” on the shore of Strangford Lough.
