The lady racing driver, better known as "Bill" was married to motoring journalist and gentleman racer Tommy Wisdom.
Triumphant in the Brooklands 1,000-Mile Race of 1932 with Australian driver Joan Richmond, she also competed at the Ards TT in 1936.
